New York artist Liana Bank$ is back with the goods in her new music video, “Ghost;” the lead single off her upcoming sophomore project APT 210. The video first premiered on Highsnobiety who called the track a “syrup-tempo’d offering.” Watch the green haired muse twirl, hop and roll with the homies (in some pretty scenic rooms) HERE

The video was a true collaborative effort from some of New York’s rising creative talent, including Liana herself, who is fast becoming one of the scene’s crowning jewels. Directed by New York filmmakers Ben Elias and Zach Stone, the video follows Liana and her crew around some of big Apple’s infamous locations – Lower East Side, Queens subway stop and a total millennial dream with a room wallpapered in a vibrant palm frond print matching the singer/songwriter’s island vibes on her new project.

The trap queen of your dreams, Liana Bank$ is a force to be reckoned with. Bank$ has an affinity for writing catchy pop driven R&B with a gritty/dark undertone, partly thanks to her unique, raspy vocals. Her songs are anthems that can both empower and have you shaking till lights out. She first exploded on the scene with her debut mixtape, Insubordinate (out last Fall) garnering her looks in Elle, Complex, Nylon Magazine, FADER, Noisey and more. The mixtape, which was listedon numerous “Best of 2016” lists, kicked off her reign as an artist to watch in 2017 by the likes of Entertainment Weekly, PAPER Magazine, FACT Magazine, and Red Bull Music. Though Bank$ artist career is fairly new, she has been an established (and successful) songwriter from a young age. Writing professionally since she was 18, Liana’s infectious music personality drew in clients like Lily Allen, Jeremih, Lion Babe, Gabrielle Ross as well as bigger labels including Sony. Her songwriting success has seen her reach “RIAA Certified Platinum” status thanks to the track “Selfish” which Liana cowrote with PnB Rock. Now at the helm of her sophomore project release, APT 210 due this Summer,  Liana is ready to serve with her own blend of island vibes and traditional R&B mixed with signature electronic production from her longtime collaboration Broadway of YOBO.

Speaking to Highsnobiety, Liana had this to say about the making of the video: “‘Ghost’ is about bringing the party wherever you go, but never staying there for too long. It was cool to have all my homies with me in the making of this video and I’m excited to finally share it with everyone.”
